Fortuitously, Luckia has joined forces with Emprendimientos Crown, a local business, to take part in the Buenos Aires licensing procedure. This makes Luckia the twelfth entity to sign up for the process.
If Luckia secures the province’s fifteen-year online gambling permit, it will be their second regulated market in Latin America. They received an online gambling license from Coljuegos, the Colombian regulatory body, in February 2018.
Luckia is joining other global operators who are also attempting to gain certification in Buenos Aires. Earlier this week, BetCris operator TV Global Enterprises teamed up with Impresora Internacional de Valores (Ivisa) to register for the process.
Other international operators, such as bet365, The Stars Group, William Hill, and Flutter Entertainment, as well as suppliers Intralot and Playtech, are also vying for the license.
Companies have until June 25th to submit their proposals for the license.
