Zitro, a developer of gaming content, has hired Derik Mooberry, a seasoned professional from Scientific Games, as the head of its US operations.

Mooberry boasts over two decades of experience in the gaming sector. He recently served as a consultant for Scientific Games, having previously held the position of CEO of the gaming giant.

He joined the provider through the acquisition of Bally Technologies, where he held the role of Senior Vice President of Products and Operations.

Derik will be responsible for the growth of Zitro’s business in the US and Canada, spearheading the company’s expansion strategy in these areas.

Mike Magrisi of Zitro will remain in his position as Vice President of Sales and Service, overseeing all commercial operations and technical support, reporting directly to Mooberry.
